Scott was born in Houston, Texas and is a veteran of the US Army where he served in 2ID in Korea and 1st Cav Division out of Fort Hood, TX. He attended Letourneau University for Business with a double minor in Finance and Management.
Growing up in a financially disadvantaged area in South Houston, he developed a strong sense of work ethic and compassion for people who struggle financially. He has owned and operated two small businesses; a restaurant in Thailand and an ice cream shop in Webster, TX.
Scott also served on two separate non-profit boards in Pearland and Clear Lake, aimed at providing underserved Seniors with financial and medical assistance.
He came to the financial services industry first through auditing and compliance and later transitioned to an investment advisory role at Morgan Stanley. Being a small business owner himself, he focused on helping small businesses establish and manage their retirement plans as well as personal finances as they navigated difficult regulatory and economic environments.
Scott attends Fellowship Houston Church regularly and serves on the Board as well. He has two daughters, Lindsay and Brianna. He’s a passionate fan of the Houston Texans and enjoys reading and audiobooks in his spare time. His favorite scripture is Romans 5:3-5.

Nelson puts his passions to work in and out of the office. As a father of a child with Autism, his greatest role is as an advocate for his clients as well as other families dealing with similar disabilities. His son’s disability has become a source of inspiration to help other families.

Nelson firmly believes that it is imperative to build trust with clients to help them identify, communicate and pursue their financial goals. He’s more than just an advisor; he’s a friend.
Nelson will provide them with top-tier customer service and cater to their individual needs, Nelson, advocates for the client, and his personal mission is to ensure that all clients receive financial mentorship personalized to their specific needs, whether it is planning for retirement and distributions or recommending investment platforms all while providing a “White-Glove” level of service.

As Chief Operations Officer and Client Relationship Manager Rhiannon is the first point of contact for our clients to address many day-to-day service issues and requests. She also facilitates the ongoing management of every client relationship as well as day to day operations. Rhi truly enjoys developing stronger relationships and addressing client needs but does not currently focus on their investment issues.
“I feel my most important strength and specialty is having the skill set and knowledge to address issues associated with special needs families. I want to share all of the information I have learned over the past thirteen years with our special needs son,” says Rhiannon. Rhiannon is currently working on expanding her knowledge, licensing and education in the special needs financial planning field. Rhiannon helped found Provident Oak Financial LLC. after being a stay at home homeschooling mom for the past eight years. “My primary goal is to make clients feel secure in knowing that their needs and wishes are not only heard but addressed promptly. I want them to know that if I don’t have the answer, I will do my very best to find it for them,” says Rhiannon.
Rhiannon grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan where she developed her love for the outdoors. She loves camping, fishing, and has hunted with her dad as long as she can remember.
In her spare time, Rhiannon enjoys being a wife and mother of three very busy tween/teen boys. She loves cooking, baking, traveling, chocolate, coffee, and the Astros. She also enjoys working alongside her husband to build their self-sustaining homestead farm in Alvin, Texas.
Active in her community, Rhiannon volunteers at her church and is an active member of the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce.
